The role and responsibilities of the Lead Teacher for the 2007-2008 school year will be very similar to this current year. There will be five total days of Leadership Training (two will be held early next year and the final three will be in the summer). Registration for the first two days is currently available! Each Lead Teacher will also provide twelve hours of professional development to the classroom teachers at his/her school or district. These hours will be determined at the district and school levels.  The initial payment will be made to Lead Teachers during the summer.  The Lead Teacher Update forms will be available at the first meeting of Leadership Training as scheduled, depending on the choice of location.  We look forward to working with each of you for another year!
